The Caribbean island of Aruba is a popular holiday location. Obviously, being such a popular tourist destination, there are a number of hotels and accommodations. One place that has received good reviews is the Marriott Aruba Surf Club, in Palm Beach.

The Surf Club is located along white sand beach and turquoise waters. The club does not have a private swimming area because the beach is public; indeed, guests can swim either in front of the Surf Club or in front of other hotels or resorts. The rooms in the Marriott are well-equipped. Amenities included air conditioning and other basic items, such as bottled water, an iron, a safe and a coffee maker/tea service. Many rooms also have in-room Jacuzzis and Internet access ports. There are also one, two and three bedroom apartments available; these have a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area for six, a breakfast bar for two and a private balcony with a table and chairs. Every floor has laundry facilities.

The Marriott offers tropical vegetation combined with a whole slew of activities. Not only is there a pool around which to relax and in which to cool off, but there are also two tennis courts where you can work up a sweat. Though the hotel itself doesn’t offer golf, there is a golf course nearby. You can also horseback ride and then return to the hotel’s beauty salon to be pampered. As far as water sports, the club itself offers boating, fishing, kayaking, parasailing, sailing, snorkeling, waterskiing and windsurfing.

And if the hotel doesn’t have the activities or services you’re looking for, there are plenty of places nearby that may satisfy you. There are at least ten restaurants in the vicinity and a load of different types of beaches. There are also a number of towns near the club so that you can experience a bit of culture and nightlife as well.
