Paintball Girls

Paintball girls are more and more visible on the paintball field. There are quite of number of all-girls or mostly girls’ paintball teams, and quite a number of “famous” and popular girl paintballers. Many people, men included, believe that women may often have certain advantages over men on the paintball field; there are still some people, though (women included), that think women are at a disadvantage compared to men when playing paintball. There are even still some backward-thinkers that believe women shouldn’t be allowed to play paintball at all.

Those that are in favor of girls playing paintball claim that women have quite a number of advantages that allow them to excel on the field, sometimes quite substantially. It’s thought that women are better at multitasking and are more patient than men; add to this women’s increased capacity to communicate and you’ve created a player that can hatch better tactical strategies and can implement those strategies with little difficulty on the field.

The female ability to communicate easily also allows paintball women to be able to change strategies on the field, with everyone in sync. Also, physically, women are smaller than men and have a net advantage when it comes to taking cover behind a bunker. Sometimes they can’t be seen at all.

One disadvantage that women on paintball fields may have, which even some women agree with, involves male strength. Women see men as being more capable of holding their markers for longer periods of time without getting tired; because women get tired more easily, they’re not able to hold their markers as sturdy as men for the same amount of time. Men also seem to be faster on the field, especially off the break. While some men may be faster and stronger, this hasn’t stopped determined girl paintballers from beating them on the field.

Whatever the physical or tactical disadvantages and advantages are of female paintballers, girls have entered the sport and are here to stay. The media and sponsors have advertised girl paintballers, especially sexy paintball girls, to attract more people, both men and woman, to the sport.

Thanks to the acceptance of female players, whereas it was quite difficult previously to find female paintball gear, girls’ paintball clothing lines have much more acceptable offerings nowadays. It’s much more common to see a paintball girl’s pic in paintball or sporting magazines; you’ll see a number of images of girls and paintball guns. Many of the pictures are of sexy paintball girls or hot paintball girls, some of which are simply models and not really paintballers; but many of the top girls of paintball are also featured.

It’s true that a hot girl in the paintball world does wonders for the world of advertising, but a paintball girl that kicks butt on the field does even more wonders for the sport itself. While there is still no official, organized all-female paintball league, there are a number of female paintball teams, with new teams continuously being organized.
